Wolfendale a indieband from Eindhoven and they release there Debut Album Foghorn. Last Yesterday i went too the recordstore and found out about this band. You can hear a lot of influences for different bands. In the this new single Crackling Jolts, you can hear the bass loop from radiohead – Jigsaw falling into place (2:18). It’s sounds great, and i think this is only the beginning for Wolfendale.

After a heavy Saturday night, i start my SundayMorning with fink at the india stage on Lowlands this weekend.
It was not easy too get out my bed, with already 2 days of festival in your legs, and i was not the only one with that feeling. Sometimes you must push a little bit further too get somewhere, and a lot people did there best too come out early too see fink. The India tent was full, and you could felt that Fin Greenall enjoy it. Specially when there are threw muffins in too the audience. It was definitely the best performance for me on the lowlands this weekend. With a Hangover and other Breakfast related situations, i was standing with a cup off coffee and enjoy fink. The performance was intense and full off energy, like his songs do. If you where not there, don’t worry. Just enjoy the performance loud, too get a little bit off the feeling that i had the sunday morning at lowlands 2011.

Gelukkig is een cirkel rond, waardoor je af en toe terug grijpt naar een oude zoals vanavond, Fink heeft net een nieuwe album gelanceerd “perfect darkness” echt een juweeltje, maar hierdoor vroeg ik me in eens af waar is het ooit mee begonnen met fink ?

Na de lancering van Biscuits for Breakfast werden mij ogen geopend voor deze geweldig sing and songwriter. Met nummers zoals pills in my pocket waar de brug werd geslagen tussen de elektronica en het akoestische.

Er is geen plaat van hem die niet die heerlijk slag van gedrevenheid en rust heeft.
Hierdoor luisterde ik weer eens naar het album distance and time.
Ook een van zijn album waar je tot nu toe nog steeds je vingers bij af likt. Die zoete smaak vraag altijd naar meer, waardoor ook zijn laatste plaat perfect darkness weer helemaal op zijn plaats valt.
